How much does a local move cost in Kelowna?
Bighorn Moving And Storage builds local moving quotes from a walkthrough of what is actually being moved, not a bedroom count or a phone guess. Cost depends on home size, access, and whether you add packing or storage. Written estimates are free, with no obligation.
How do you estimate a local move?
Bighorn Moving And Storage starts with a walkthrough to see the real job: what is being moved, how access works, and what the crew will need. You then get a written estimate based on that, rather than a vague hourly rate or a rough size guess.
What is included in the price of a local move?
Bighorn Moving And Storage uses all-inclusive pricing, so the quote covers the job rather than a base rate with extras added later. There are no separate charges for fuel, stairs, heavy items, or equipment once the truck arrives.
How far in advance should I book local movers?
Bighorn Moving And Storage recommends booking three to four weeks ahead for most local moves, and six to eight weeks between May and September when demand peaks. Shorter notice is often possible. Contact us and we will tell you what the calendar allows.
What areas do you serve for local moves?
Bighorn Moving And Storage handles local moves throughout the Central and North Okanagan, including Kelowna, West Kelowna, Westbank, Lake Country, Vernon, and Coldstream. Our crews work from our own Okanagan location with our own trucks and equipment, so your move stays with our team.
Do you take on small moves?
Bighorn Moving And Storage takes on moves of any size. Condo and apartment moves, same-building moves, single-item moves, and seniors downsizing all get the same walkthrough, written estimate, and trained crew as a full house move. No move is too small.
Do you offer storage between moving dates?
